Specifically, we may notice a change in color/brightness, dry or flaky skin, increased personal odor, and/or At MASS EDEN BLOG, we care about you and your health. So,we’re sharing 4 causes of poor skin health:
- Stress – Causes the body to produce more chemicals, negatively impacting normal bodily functions. These functions control mental and physical health.
- Disease – Promotes infection and/or change in cells, directly impairs specific parts of the body. Time (suffered) with and severity of an illness are both factors into how and when skin is impacted.
- Extreme Environment – Temperatures that are either too hot or cold; climates that are dry or moist; and/or, seasons that are sunny or dark may deprive skin of natural nutrients. Any of these situations may also prevent skin from properly ‘breathing’ or turning over cells without issue.
- Medication – Attempting to cure or manage illness/irritations, side effects from prescribed and unprescribed treatments can mirror the impacts or stress, disease or an extreme environment.
